Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono instructs Jakarta Civil Servants who have taken leave on November 4, to cancel it. It is following a massive demonstration on that day.

Sumarsono disclosed it is especially addressed to officials like mayor and village chief.
"No leave for mayor and village chief on November 4. All must be on standby to safe Jakarta," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (11/3).
No Day Off for Civil Servants on November 4He will not compromise to punish those who are absent tomorrow. It will be adjusted to Government Regulation No. 53/2010 on discipline of PNS.
"If the rule is ignored, we'll punish you," he expressed.
Thereby, he asks Jakarta BKD to monitor the attendance list of PNS. Thus those who break the rules could be known.
"I just give tolerance for employees who are sick or go on umroh," he asserted.
He went on the say that public service will still operate as usual. No day off for PNS, school and office tomorrow.
"We are a civilian state apparatus, so do not be daunted. No day off tomorrow, work as usual. If you are absent, who will serve public service?," he closed.
